Korean Village

Yeheeett.. this is my previous exposition. I wrote it as my assignment in Advanced-B got us to write about “What if I have received some land to use as I wish, what am I going to use it for?” sebenarnya banyak topik pilihan yang dikasih Mr.Patrick –abangnya Mr.Dustin- itu banyak, tapi yang eye catching kyknya cuma yang ini. KOREAN VILLAGE

And below was my exposition, describing my Korean Village.

Korean Village

Korea is well-known nowadays because of the K-pop wave. Teenagers around the world are fond of everything about Korea. If I have received some land as I wish, I think it will be a good chance to found a Korean Village. It will be opened as a public area for the purpose of education, tourism, and community events.

The first purpose of founding a Korean Village is for education. There will be an education centre in the Korean Village. It will be specialized in teaching traditional cultures, separated into three classes, such as: dance class, art class, and music class. The musical instruments used in music class will be directly imported from Korea. The tutorial will be led by Korean professionals and will be available for people of all ages to join. The education center will be beneficial for everyone.

The second purpose of the Korean Village is as a tourism destination. Besides being an education center, the Korean Village will have good prospects to be a tourism destination. Streets will be constructed at the other side of the Korean Village. They will be decorated as similar to the real situation in Korea as possible. Korea products such as clothing, dishes, and crafts will be sold here. There will be a permanent culture pavilion in which visitors can learn about Korean beliefs, art, and customs. The Korean Village will be a realistic Korean experiences for all tourists.

The third purpose of founding the Korean Village is to hold community events. To attract and entertain visitors, Korean Village will have plenty of activities. Annual events of Korean celebrations and ceremony will be prepared with different concepts. Fashion week that will introduce Hanbok, Korean traditional clothing, will also be one of the events. Participants of the education center will have some kinds of performances once a month. Community events in the Korean Village will gather people and put Korea on display.

As a well-organized concept, the Korean Village can be founded for the purpose of education, tourism, and celebrations. Places like China Town have been established in many countries. Since K-pop is booming, the founding of the Korean Village will provide a place for fans of K-pop to express their interest and let them learn and know more about Korea.
